Happy Thanksgiving Guuuys!!!
Hope everybody had a good thanksgiving!
The highlight of my day, was talking on the phone with my best friend who lives miles and miles away, in the east coast. :/ I love my best friend, and I'm thankful for my best friend still being in my life and hope to be friends till we're old and wrinkly LOL! But I'm also thankful for my twin being in my life, my family, my other friends, all the positive things that happened this yr, this lil blog, and just whatever I have. :)
*How was your Thanksgiving?*

Loooved her jewelries!! ♥
Very fun, pretty and cute.
The highlight of my day, giving the original drawing to Mel from Modanista Junkie. :D
I brought the drawing with me, just in case I saw her at the Trade show, so that she can have the original copy, it's hers, and I thought that she should have it. :D
It was really cool to meet her and to see her in person, she's so sweet and so nice. :)

I wanted to buy the Heart necklace, but the owner said, she's going to make a ring just like the necklace in a heart shape, and oh my god.....I was like, never mind, I want the heart shape ring instead! :D
I loooooved her awesome braided feathered headband! Very cool!!
She made it herself, Beautiful Bliss
Sorry that this picture came out really blurry :/
Loved the body Jewelry
And here are my nails being done by Dipped Nails
I chose the nail art on my ring fingers because I wanted something to represent me, and since I love art so much I picked that design. :D
Anna and I attended the Thread Show for the first time, and we loved it and had a good time! There was a lot of great talent amongst the jewelry artists, and Anna and I loved loots of the jewelry pieces! Some were beautiful, fun, cute and cool. :D There were also some clothes, and I got to meet the designer from the clothing line of Roja's :D! I had to tell him that I have been a fan of his clothes and used to follow him on myspace, lol. He laughed and said something along the lines of, "Thank you for following the line", he's a pretty cool designer. :)
At the Thread show event, I also got to meet a few blogger girls, which was AWESOME!! I finally got a chance to meet Mel from Modanista Junkie , Melissa from The Key To Chic, and two other blogger girls that Anna complemented on their style , Teresa & Emily from The Style Map, and I also noticed Zoe from lookbook.nu . I wanted to say hi to her, but she was with her bf, and I just felt uncomfortable, so I just looked at her, lol.
Anna bought three items from the thread show :D. First item was a strange, odd and creepy copper ring of a face, second item was the Roja's Earthy colored long tee, and the third item was a Oval Druzy Agate earthy necklace by Love Tatum that matched with the Roja's tee :D ♥
I didn't buy anything, which sucks, I wanted to buy a necklace from Bella Koi, but I couldn't make up my mind on what to buy! >.< All of her stuff are soo good! But I did get a feather extension in my hair, but the woman didn't place the feather extension good. Because the feather doesn't hang well, it sticks out! Not cool! >: |
And as you saw in the last pics, I got my nails done by Dipped Nails @ the Nail Bar, which I love soo much! The nail polish hasn't chipped away yet, yay! :D
I defiantly want to attend next yr's Thread Show and I like to say my final Thank You to Mel, for giving me a ticket for the show! :D ♥

I LOOOOOVE THE VIDEO!!
Sooo creative and fun!! Love the whole concept, I love the part, where the model is running up the white stairs, and Donatella's hand shadow, grabs the model, and dangling in the air. SO COOL! ♥
It's like a little model factory, and Donatella Versace is the puppet master, :D loove it!!
Also, Daphne looks soo great, she's so cute, I absolutely loove her!! Lindsey also looks great, gosh, I can't believe they're under 18 yrs of age! O.o
*What did you guys think of the video?*

What I was wearing:
Shirt - Mossimo (trifted)
Sweater - Route 66 (got it when I was in my teens from Kmart)
Necklace - No brand (Uncle gave it to my mom)
Jeans - Jolt
Glasses - Givenchy
Bag - H&M
Shoes - Zara
Close up of the necklace
So a little story about my outfit, I wanted to go for a nerdy inspired look and a little unkempt, by having half of my shirt tucked in and the other half out. I was in the mood to wear a sweater with a collar shirt, so I was looking through my closet and trying on whatever I had, and I noticed my striped route 66 sweater, and I tried it on. At first I didn't like it, because, the sleeves are loose and somewhat baggy, but I decided to fold it, to minimize the bagginess of it, and yeah, I really liked it, and though it was cute! So I went with it, and sort of built the outfit around the sweater :) . I believe I only wore this sweater, like once in my life, and this would be the 2nd time wearing it. LOL!
I bought this sweater, when I was like ummm....16 I think. I think I was 16 going on 17, and I was starting to be more open minded to girl clothes, because, in my early teens until I was 16, I wore clothes that hid my figure, and I was interested in boy clothes, and would shop in the guys section, lol. I remember buying a lot of cargo pants, with looots of pockets, that was my favorite kind of pants to wear, LOL. And when I did shop in the girls section, I would be only interested in graphic printed shirts, lol. I would never wear skirts, dresses anything feminine, I would ALWAYS wear pants. I just felt comfortable, but when I was 16 going on 17, I started sloooowly being open to female clothes, and I remember being at Kmart, and I saw this sweater, I liked the colors, it just gave me a warmth feeling, and my mom liked it, I tried it on, and sort of liked it, and I bought it, lol. I have no idea what age I was the last time I wore it, so bad, lol. So, I wanted to give this sweater a 2nd chance, from being locked up in my closet forever and to give it some life, lol.
And also, I felt that the sweater, went well with my nerdy outfit that I was trying to make. :)
I cuffed my skinny jeans to give it a little more style to my outfit, instead of going with the usual being uncuffed.
I wore my actual eye glasses that are fairly new, that my twin sister, Anna picked out ♥, to go with my nerdy look, and then I topped off my outfit with the collar necklace! I know the collar necklace doesn't go with the outfit, but I felt like something was missing from my outfit, and really wanted to wear an accessory, and I thought of the collar necklace trend that's going around this yr, so, I looked through my moms drawers, lol, and found this collar necklace, and I liked it, and wore it. It may not go with my nerdy outfit, but I don't care, I like it and I wanted to wear it. :D And if you think about it, the stereotype of nerds, when it comes to fashion, they're not really matchy with their outfits.
:)
