Our mannequins we got to style!
This was styled by Melissa, from The Key to Chic.
This outfit is sooo her!! The printed pants, mixing prints with color and the shirt, so very her. I love that she picked out a shirt that had the word Key on it, it goes with her blog name. :)
This is my second time seeing her in a event, I saw her the first time in the Thread Show (link), and it was awesome she was at the Old Navy blogger event on Thursday, it's always nice seeing familiar faces. :)
This was styled by Anna, and I'm so happy she got to style a mannequin as well.
I really loved how her outfit came out, I think it's cool and cute! :)
This was styled by me :)
I really loved the sheer blouse, so I wanted to go for a casual modern safari look.
Like a city girl walking down the city street, wearing a inspired safari themed outfit, so keeping things casual, with the boyfriend shorts and the cute ankle flats. I pictured a off white clutch in my mind, but there weren't clutches in Old Navy, so I picked that bag, because I really liked how the neon yellow color looked with the tan colored blouse, and I liked the canvas material of the bag, it went with the safari themed inspired look. Plus the neon color is a great modern touch along with the neon yellow bracelet/bangle.
As for the necklace, I pictured a animals tooth, but there was no mammal tooth necklaces in Old Navy, so I chose a feathered metal necklace. :) I also pictured my mannequin wearing a hat, a straw hat, but the mannequins were already put on the window display, so I was too late.
♥
Oh, and one more thing...this is a daring outfit!
My mannequin has no undershirt! LOL! And the trainer manager of Old Navy that invited me to the event asked me if I wanted to put a shirt underneath, and I quickly replied no, and a minute later I was like to myself, WAIT YES!!! LOL, SHE DOES NEED A UNDERSHIRT! Where the hell was my brain?! lol
I think I was so excited to dress the mannequin that I forgot that one small missing item. -.- *sigh*
So yes ladies, don't wear a sheer blouse with no undershirt of some sort, that's my style advice, haha.
This was styled by Amy of Cozy Reverie
A bright fun colored outfit, loved that she added the green bag, because it really ties in with everything, and love how it goes with the colorful plaid shirt and the plum colored shorts, also those sandals are so cute, I love them!
This was styled by Kaitlin from Misskait
Loved her mannequin outfit too, it's like a casual bohemian look and feel. It's a floral printed dress, and the braided belt, the white stone necklace and of course the flip flops give the bohemian casual look. :)

Anna & I enjoyed talking to her, she's so nice and easy to talk too, annnnd she's an artist as well! AWESOME! :D It's great, because I can relate with her in some level other than fashion. :)
♥
After talking to a couple bloggers, we hanged around the fitting rooms, so we can give style tips/advice to shoppers. This man down below in the pic, was trying on clothes, and Melissa and Kaitlin were giving him advice and what not. :)
I love that he has such a happy face on lol, what a good sport! :)
Annnnnd this is the result! He's got new clothes! :)
(From left to right: MissKait, Kait's friend, Anna, and me.)
Every blogger got a name tag with their blog link at the bottom.
I thought it was pretty cool :)
Thanks to Lauren, the training Manager of Old Navy that invited me to participate in the blogger event. My first blogger event, thanks for the opportunity, it was a dream come true to style a mannequin. I always wanted and dreamed of styling one, and I got to do it for a store, and it will be in the window display along with the other mannequins that the blogger girls styled, for a whole week! So awesome!! :D I can finally say, 1 DREAM DOWN! :D
By the way, I don't have a group picture of me and the 3 other blogger girls, we took a group picture, but Anna wasn't around, so she missed out on taking the picture :/
But, you guys can check out their blogs to see their post on the event :)

HIIII GUUUUYS!!!! :D
I'm soooo excited to announce that I will be part of a blogger event this Thursday night, from 6-8pm @ the Northridge mall, in the Old Navy store!
It's going to be me, and other local fashion blogger girls there and we are going to offer style advice and tips for shoppers during the event!
I have to admit though, I'm slightly nervous, as this is my first blogger event, so I don't really know what to expect, besides giving style tips to shoppers. I would say that is what I'm mainly slightly nervous about, because, I never really gave style advice/tips to anyone, besides my friends, my mom, Anna, and my cousin.
But hopefully, everything goes good :), I am defiantly more excited than nervous though, so that's good, right?! :D And also, I don't know who the other blogger girls will be, I'm curious to know who though, and I can't wait to meet them! :)
So, if you guys are in the LA or in the San Fernando Valley area and are interested for a night of shopping and some fashion fun, come on down to the Northridge mall, the Old Navy store, and see us blogger girls do our thing, and come say hi to us! :D
By the way, Anna (my twin sister), will be with me, snapping the night away, so come and say hi to my other half as well! ;)
I'm just sooo happpy to have a chance to be part of something, and something I love oh so much, FASHION ♥!!!

I wanted to keep my outfit simple and have a old school American vibe, like a bit rockabilly. :)
I thought the red bandanna and the black high top Converse shoes were the perfect touches for the old skool Americana vibe :)
I know I'm super late with this post, & I'm sorry about that, but, my computer net, is never stable, it's bi-polar, I don't know when it will work and when it will stop working. It's very frustrating, and really hard for me to blog, when I'm dealing with my shitty net. :(((
But on a happier note, I had a lot of fun editing these pictures on photoshop, trying to give the old skool retro look and feel to my pictures. I spent hooouuurs playing around with the colors and adding filters and what not, yeah, a lot of fun! So, I'd like to add more of a artistic touch to my pictures for my next outfit posts, when ever I do them. I'd like to bring a new creativity look to my pictures, instead of the regular photos, you know? I just wanna have fun, and create a feeling with my style, whatever the theme may be, retro, cute, simple, edgy, feminine, etc.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy my pictures! :)

What I'm wearing:
Top - Uniform John Paul Richard (Def. from the 90's!) lol
Jeans - Blank NYC
Shoes - Zara
Bracelet (On my left hand) - London Manori
I have been wanting a chambray button down top, for several months now, and while looking around my closet, guess what I found?! I found a denim chambray button down top! YAYYYYY! The top is from the 90's I believe, it's of good quality, although it's a bit short and sort of big on me, but it's ok, I don't mind a loose look. :)
So yeah, I paired the old chambray denim top with my beloved skinny jeans, it's the only dark wash denim jeans I have and it's the best skinny fit jeans I own.
I cuffed it at the bottoms and cuffed the sleeves of the top, to give it the summery look. And I also thought cuffed jeans will look better with the oxfords. :)
It's just a simple look, but an outfit I've been wanting to try out after I've seen some blogger girls wearing denim on denim outfits, and I reallly liked the look, so I wanted to try it out! :D
I love the simplicity of the denim on denim look and I think it's enough to be cool looking on its own, without having to add too much to the outfit, you know?
It's just cool and easy going style. :)

BA Star is a make up company directed towards cheerleaders, dancers, actors, pretty much anyone who's a performer, and they are #1 for performance make up!
So since it's make up for performers, it has the performance look, the glitters and the shine!
Most of BA Star's make up products are glittery, nice and fun vibrant colors, but even thought BA Star's make up is directed towards performers, I feel, that some of their make up products can be used for ever day, like their shadow palettes. There are four shadow palettes on their site, they come in, Natural, Smoky, Pretty N Pink, and True Blue. All four shadow palettes have a middle tone color, a shadow color and a highlight color, along with two gel glitters.
But for an everyday look, you can use the three tone colors, the highlight, the middle tone and the shadow. You can do a simple day or night look using those three tone colors, or you can only wear one or two colors on your eyes for an everyday look.
I received the Natural Shadow Palette, which comes in 5 colors, the first 3 are mineral shadows in, Bronze, Cocoa and Nude and 2 Gel glitters in, Gold and Crystal. The palette also comes with a double applicator, a brush side and a sponge side.
I had a lot of fun testing out/playing with the eye shadows, and what I noticed when I applied the shadows on my lids,
♥ It went on smoothly and that they were soft in touch and while applying them on
♥ They are pretty easy to blend, which is nice.
♥ They are shiny and a bit shimmery.
♥ The staying power is pretty good, I wore my eye shadow look for several hours, and it stayed in tact towards the end, and I was pretty shocked, because I sadly have oily lids, but thankfully the eye shadows didn't ware off, which is really nice and plus I don't even own a primer! So that has to say something! ;)
The only 2 things I didn't like of the natural eye shadow palette, was that,
- The cocoa color wasn't as dark as I expected it to be, I do love my dark's to be dark, and it wasn't that pigmented. So I had to layer the cocoa a few times to get a dark brown color going, but it wouldn't get dark, which was actually frustrating. :/
- The 2nd thing I didn't like was the double applicator. I just don't see how you can get any good use out of it. I didn't use the double applicator at all, I used my e.l.f. eye shadow C brush to pack the shadows on and then used my ring finger to blend. And lastly, used a cotton swab for final smoothing out the eye shadow look.
Here are the swatches,
And here is my eye shadow look,
I tried to do a smoky brown eye shadow look
(With flash)
And I had to do one eye using the Gold gel glitter.
It was pretty easy to glide it on my eye lid, though I used a short angle brush to apply the gel glitter.
(Without flash)
I really enjoyed and had fun testing this eye shadow palette out, at first I was reallly nervous, but once I played around with it, I was like this is fun!!! :D So I'd like to do this again, if I get another chance. :)
And lastly, BA Star is offering a 50% Discount to you guys, enter the code, BBSMOKY at the check-out, and hope you enjoy your purchase and the discount! :D

Hey guys! I finallllly got some free time to blog, yayyy! I've been busy with school, like I have never ever experienced such a busy life, to the point of not having time to watch some tv, txt/call my close friends and I get little sleep too! >.< I'm always busy completing my art projects, though I am on instagram a looot, it's just fast and easy access, and you guys can see my art projects on there, see what I'm up too, if you're interested :)
But enough of that! Lets talk SPRING shall we?! :D
I put this polyvore set in February, because I couldn't wait for consistent warmer days lol, and couldn't wait to wear summerish, colorful, light weight, fun clothes, and a few things I am craving, wanting, needing and wishing for!
1. Wedge Sneakers - Every since the Isabel Marant wedge sneaks came out, I have been in love with them and want to own a wedge sneaker! I know I won't ever have the Isabel Marant sneaks, so I want a sneaker that's pretty close to the original sneaker. I've seen a lot of wedge sneakers, since last fall, and well, I don't like most of them, because they all look so girlish, I want a wedge sneaker that really gives off that tomboyish look/feel, you know? So, THANKFULLY, I found a few sneakers online, while doing some obsessive research one late night, lol, that look pretty close to the Isabel Marant sneaks and I'd love to have one of the shoes, sooon....I hope! ♥ Here are my choices, Candie's (want this one!!!!), loooove the Steve Madden version and this one is pretty cool by Heart Soul Iona Wedge Sneaker Oh and mind you guys, I have never ever bought a knock off, this would be my first time, if I got the similar wedge sneaks.
2. Sheer Button-downs -Button downs, button downs! I can't get enough of them, and I need some nice ones for like whenever I go somewhere that I need to look somewhat formal. And I have been wanting sheer button downs since last summer, I just love sheer, so feminine ♥ :)
From Left to Right : Sleeveless blouse, Long Sleeve blouse (sadly it's sold out, here's a similar one), V-neck Blouse, 3/4 Sleeve Blouse
3. Chambray Button-downs - Mooore button downs! :D These are a STAPLE in my closet! They're def. a need, because I've loved them as a teenager, and still love them to this day! They're just so practical, and you can wear them in so many ways, you can wear them for all seasons, they're layer-able annnnd, they're just awesome! lol I mean really, they save me from the days of, "I-don't-know-what-to-wear!"
From Left to Right: Light Wash Denim Shirt, Dark Wash Denim Shirt, Sleeveless Denim shirt, Checkered Mint Green Shirt (My mom surprised me the other day and she bought me the pink version, pink or green, I'm happy either way, the pink is pretty cute and I can't wait to wear it! :D Thanks mom ♥)
4. Flats - I still want and need flats :/ I need them in black, red and a nice tan/brown color, just so I can wear it with almost anything in my closet. :)
5. Bags - Love these bags, but I don't really want them, thought, I'd like to own a messenger bag, but for school :)
Left to Right, Poppie Jones Belted Flap Mini Shoulder Bag(Sadly it's sold out!)
Minnetonka El Paso Cross Body Bag
Lauren Ralph Lauren (Sadly this too is sold out :/ )
Left to Right, Poppie Jones Belted Flap Mini Shoulder Bag(Sadly it's sold out!)
Minnetonka El Paso Cross Body Bag
Lauren Ralph Lauren (Sadly this too is sold out :/ )
And the rest are for decorative reasons, because I dream of owning a closet like this, in a boutique style, so I had fun and enjoyed making this set, and would like to make more of these in the future! :D OH! And speaking of closets.....I want to share with you guys a pretty awesome virtual closet app in the next few posts, I don't know when I'll do the post, because I rarely have free time, but I hope soon! :)
Hope you guys enjoyed this post, as I enjoyed makin it! :)
