Run With Fashion

Hi guys, long time no....blog, haha ^^

Any who, today is my birthday, and this is really the only gift I got, but I'm pretty happy about, because, it's NARS! :D

Most of my make up is drugstore bought, like $1 and $2 lippie products lol, so I'm so happy to have a HIGH END LIPPIE PRODUCT! Last yr, I did get the Makeup Forever Sephora Bday gift, and I realllllly loved the mini lipstick and mascara it came with, that was actually my first HIGH END MAKE UP PRODUCT! :)

♥

I haven't tried the lippies yet, but I can't wait to try them and probably blog about the lippies and do a little review I guess. ^^

Anyways, happy Monday! :)

This post is all thanks to Anna who got me distracted with Sephora the other night. I was editing my Cupcake nail art tutorial and she started textin me links through twitter to check out make up items she wishes she could have. And next thing I know, I'm completely distracted and found myself on the SALE section browsing through and I ended up loving some few items that left me wishing & wanting! >.<

♥

Now, I've never bought anything from Sephora, but I've been tempted to buy the Beauty Blogger kit (they don't have it online anymore :( ), welll...guess there's no temptation anymore, haha.

♥

But I can tell you for sure next week, I WILL be buying something from my Wednesday Lovin make up post from Sephora....I'll keep you guessing, and reveal what I got next wk! ;D

By the way, everything in my image is on SALE! :D

Some are from Sephora & Rite Aid :)

What make up items are you lovin lately?

Got my Born Pretty Store package last Friday & it was a nice surprise, because I thought it would come next wk (like not this wk, but the wk after), but thankfully it didn't! What was also a nice surprise, was that I received my FIRST 3 CONCEPT EYES BEAUTY COSMETIC PRODUCT!!! :D   I'm such a fan of 3 Concept Eyes, I found out about them through Stylenanda's instagram last yr (which is my fav Korean fashion brand), and when I  first saw cosmetics by 3 Concept Eyes, I was like, :O "oooooo, the quality of their cosmetics look really good!" I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD OWN IT! :D

Soooo with that being said, I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY IT!!! :D

*Please be everything that I imagined it to be* lol

I also can't wait to try the stamper & stamp template, something I've always wanted ^^

So I will be doing a product review on these items in a video and hopefully have it up by next Monday! :)

HAPPY FRIDAY!

So there's a story behind the making of this vday nail art. I originally had another idea, I actually had 2 vday nail art ideas, buuut, thanks to my nail polishes, they're all dying out on me, that I couldn't use them in the video. They were all sticky, mushy, you know not smooth. So all the vday nail ideas I had, I was unable to do, and I pretty much had to change my ideas like 3 times, and I was sooo frustrated! >.<  So Anna suggested why not do the newspaper nail art, and after awhile I finally gave in on the idea of newspaper vday nail art. So I got excited again, knowing there's another plan! But, unfortunately Anna forgot where she put the rubbing alcohol, and I was back on being bummed out/frustrated. But Anna experimented with the nail polish remover, and after several minutes she showed me the newspaper print on her nails, and I was like :O!!! OMGOD YOU DID IT?! And she told me that using the nail polish remover really works, but in ANOTHER WAY!

So, I got happy, and I already had in mind of how my newspaper nail art was going to be and well...the rest was history! ;)  While we were doing the video and taking breaks in between for my nails to dry, we cracked up jokes about the situation of using nail polish remover, and I said to Anna, "Poor girls way to do newspaper nail art, if you don't have rubbing alcohol use nail polish remover!" LOL & she said, "Real artists improvise" LOL :D So true! ♥ :D

So that's pretty much the story of how this idea nail art became to be. :)
