Run With Fashion

I hope when I paint these two jars it comes out really good. :D

Yup, my 2nd oil painting for my class, my teacher set up 2 chairs in the classroom, and welll...here is my view on it.  I decided to crop it because, I really didn't want to draw the whooole set, O.o, too much work and I felt overwhelmed. :P lol. Plus I REALLLY wanted to paint the 2 jars :) .

This time, my teacher will be grading us on composition and welll...it seems I have a good composition, which is actually funny, because I had no idea what I was doing, sort of.  I know, I wanted to crop and zoom in on the top chair, and crop the bottom chair, but have the bottom chair sticking out on the left side. So I sort of knew what I was doing, but didn't know if it was a good composition or not, I really thought it sucked. lol. But in class, a advanced student really loved my painting and said beautiful composition, and I was like....REALLLY?! LOL! I was really shocked.  I sweaaar, every time, I don't know what I'm doing, it seems like I'm doing a good job, and every time I know what I am doing and I'm sure of myself, seems like I'm doing it wrong according to my teachers. -.- I don't get it.  Oh well, so I joked with Anna saying, I should just paint mindlessly LOL.

Anyways, enough of me talking, I still have a lot to do, but I think, I won't have any problems doing this painting unlike my first black and white painting , I can honestly say that, I really liked this 2nd painting, and actually enjoyed working on it and I do look forward to continue painting it. :D

Sooooo.....I must go, and continue working on my painting and I'm going to be busy doing this painting maybe until Thursday, because it's due Friday, and when I'm done, I will DEF. take pics of the finished painting and post it on the blog! :D

Yayyyyy....can't wait!

This outfit illustration was inspired by Rebecca Minkoff's neon sandal.

I was so in love with the sandal that I envisioned this outfit, and made a quick sketch.

It's a white collar sleeveless asymmetric top with a neon green going down in the middle of the shirt,

skinny denim jeans with a side slit,

and the Rebecca Minkoff sandals (I know her sandals are neon yellow, buuut I made it neon green because I thought that was the color, until I made my sandal post and realized that it was Neon Yellow! Eeeks! Hopefully no one minds ^^).

This is such a CUTE SANDAL!!!

I want it!

I'd love to have them in this color, red and blue! ♥

Here's the same shoe but in a black version, just wanted to post it to show you guys the 2nd color option. :)

I really like this color choice as well, it will go with everything and with a nice touch of weave design on yer feet! ;D

But I def. looove the neon one more, it's just a POP OF FUN! :D

Love these sandals, so cute, love the weave pattern and the colors. :)

Just wanted to show you guys some sandals I have been loving lately, seeing soo many pop of fun colored sandals on pinterest, that it REALLLY got me into making this post, duh lol and got me hoping & wishing it was SUMMER ALREADY! :D

I couldn't help but do an illustration of how I would wear floral pants, so I had to draw it to show you guys. :D  I drew two version of how I would wear floral pants, the first is my dream outfit, what I envisioned and the 2nd outfit is, reality, the clothes in my closet. You know how I said in my post, about my moms vintage floral pants? Well here is the illustration, the REALITY OUTFIT. A basic gray top, my mom's vintage floral pants (though I sorta forgot how they looked, I'm not sure if they have ruffles at the bottom of the pants for each leg or not), and Anna's black oxfords. :)

The DREAM OUTFIT, is a black popcorn knit sweater, and skinny floral trousers that are folded at the bottom, and black shiny heels. :)

I've liked floral pants/trousers since last yr. I remember looking through a Vogue issue (I forgot what month :/)

and one page caught my attention, a woman was wearing floral pants paired up with a gray shirt, pumps and a clutch. I thought, 'Wow, I really like this style and how she paired up the floral pants with the plain gray top.' So then I thought to myself, I can wear something similar to her outfit! Her floral pants reminded me of my mom's vintage floral pants that she passed to my sister and I, and I thought I can wear her vintage floral pants and pair it up with a plain short sleeve shirt, and wear one of my sisters oxfords. :D

Though, I never got around to plan that outfit, because I couldn't find my mom's vintage floral pants :/ , so I got to ask her, because now I'm REALLLY LOVING the FLORAL PANTS TREND.......ALLLL THANKS TO OLIVIA PALERMO!
The other day I was on Pinterest, and I saw a pic of Olivia wearing a floral pants and I reallly just fell in love with the way she styled it. I looove the bright yellow shirt she wore with her floral pants and then topping it off with a black blazer, the colors are so nice. I love her style and how dresses up. :)

ooooo...I just realized I do have floral leggings..hmmm...I should style with that till I find my mom's vintage floral pants. :)

If I had floral trousers or pants I would want to pair it up with a black or gray sweater, a popcorn knit sweater and a non-popcorn knit sweater, and wear black heels and have a clutch.

But in REALITY, I don't have that :/ ,  so I thought of wearing for now, my floral leggings and wearing a knit sweater, denim shorts over my floral leggings and my twin's black oxfords. ^^

*Anyone else loving the floral pants/trouser trend?*

The past 3 days, I have been busy working on my FIRST oil painting for my oil painting class, and I am happy with the finished painting! :D

I never worked with oil painting, and soo...I was really frustrated with the steps of working with oil painting, everything was just so opposite from what I am used to with water coloring and working with acrylics. I'm still getting the hang of oil painting and the steps and how to paint in a orderly manner.

Man, there's soo many steps! O.o I don't like it..... -.-.

Anyways on to the painting, around Wednesday and Thursday, I started coming around to my painting and I started to like how it was turning out. :)  Since I think oil painting is tedious, I wasn't picky with how I worked and only cared to get the shading, the lightening right and to make my objects have a smooth finish.

I didn't really care too much for the table cloth.... :P lol I HATE painting in the table cloths! -.- They're annoying!

Overall, I think I'll be getting a C, and I'm honestly fine with that, because I am a total beginner and I'm just learning for myself and understanding oil painting. :)  Usually this is NOT my attitude, I LOOOOVE GETTING A's, and I always have gotten A's in all the art classes I took, but this time around, I'm going to approach things differently, and just learn oil painting and not be all like, "I want to be TOP STUDENT" and all. But once I get oil painting down and I do become good at it, I'll get back to my competitive ways. :D

The water bottle, because of the light and the shadows on the bottle and how I blended the colors together to give it a nice smooth finish. :)

The cropped vase bottle, and the reflection of it on the rectangular box.

I love again the smoothness of it. :)

And lastly the two folds of the table cloth that's between the small box and the rectangular box.

I took a close pic of it, but it came out over exposed -.- , so I didn't add it to the post, sorry guys :/

But you can see, if you care in the first pic of the two folds and what I'm talking about. :)

That's right as the title goes :D, I took the first 4 pics earlier in the afternoon today and the last 2 Anna took.

These pics were just for fun and I didn't think I'd make a post today, it all just happened spontaneously.  I stepped outside to look for the mannequin and I got the hand and put my rings and bracelet on it to see how it will look "displayed" and I realllly liked it and thought it was cool! So I went to show Anna, and she loved it and then I started to play around with the hand pretending it was my hand.......lol. Like, for the last photo, "Oh...let me look out the window" LOL.  And Anna and I were laughing cuz it was funny and fun, so she decided to take pics. :D
Mannequin limbs are a whoooole lotta FUN!  lol :D

Btw, I have been busy making more things and will show you guys an update soon! :D
